NERD ALERT!!

Ok so I started my del.icio.us account. At first I was skeptical about it. I'm not gonna lie to you-I thought it was gonna be pretty lame. But when I started doing it- I hate to admit it-but it was kind of fun. But I still am not really seeing the point of it all. I mean who is going to want to know what websites I look at besides myself? Besides that I don't look at any significant websites. Just Facebook and stuff like that. So who cares. I mean it is good for me. But not anyone else. Perhaps we can talk more about this in class on Friday.

Yes, we will talk more about it.

The other thing to do: poke through my del.icio.us, starting from the reading list, and think about possibilities for research, etc.

For me, with a bazillion bookmarks and five or six computers in regular use, del.icio.us is the bomb.

I think it's kind of interesting to see some websites that other people think are interesting. I may not know they exist. I poked around and found some interesting stuff.

In terms of research, I did what was suggested in class, but didn't get much results. I searched for literary criticism on a particular book on google.com and didn't really get any results. Likewise, I didn't get any results on del.icio.us either. Maybe I should try this comparison with something else. . .

I agree with you on the del.icio.us stuff, It was kind of fun playing around with it, but I don't really understand the need for it. I guess for myself if I ever need to get to a website I usually just type it into google or yahoo and get to it from there. As for the real world in a couple months good luck!
